In the room, a comfortable single bed, a small table with a chair, and a hanging stand with shelves that ensure practical storage. If necessary, the bed can be opened to provide comfortable accommodation for two people, although this can make the space a bit cramped due to the size of the room. A pitcher of fresh water and glasses await guests on the table to refresh them after a long day. The intimate atmosphere is enhanced by a small table lamp and a colorful, tasteful flower arrangement. A small lamp on the bedside table next to the bed helps you find your way around at night, ensuring maximum comfort.

Although there is no air conditioning in the room, a fan provides a pleasant cooling breeze in the summer heat. The windows offer a view of the garden and Krishna Valley, so guests can enjoy the beauty of the landscape from the room. A blackout curtain keeps the light out when you need to rest. The room is heated by a radiator, and the floor is covered with parquet.

About the Elephant guesthouse:
The guesthouse is a unique, irregularly shaped building with a flat roof, surrounded by lush green bushes and trees, giving off a calm, close-to-nature atmosphere.

There is a small tea kitchen in the common area of the building, where you can prepare your drink or heat up your food. The prepared delicacies can be eaten at the small table in the hallway. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a small cupboard, a shelf with books and a wall clock. A microwave oven, kettle and cutlery are also provided for guests’ convenience. And you will even find tea bags, sugar and salt in the kitchen.

Two rooms open from the kitchen, three more from the corridor, and the last room can be accessed from outside the building. We can comfortably place our shoes on the shoe rack next to the door, as it is required to remain inside the house without wearing outdoor shoes.

Behind and in front of the house there is a cozy little garden with tables and chairs for those who want to rest or relax in the open air.

Around the guesthouse:
The guesthouse is located only 130 meters from the entrance to Krishna Valley, in a picturesque setting. The Yamuna river flows not far from the house, which emphasizes the idyllic beauty of the countryside. Srila Prabhupada’s samadhi (remembrance place) is also located nearby.

Although most of Krishna Valley is not connected to the cillage’s electricity network, the Elephant guesthouse is. Electricity is provided in all rooms of the building. However, it is important to take a flashlight with you when walking around after dark, as there is no public lighting in Krishna Valley.

Outside, in Somogyvámos, opposite the Kamala Bhavan guesthouse, there is a small ABC, where they offer a wide selection of groceries. Gluten-free products are also available in the shop as well as vegetarian options.

Distances from the guesthouse:
Krishna Valley’s temple is only 1,400 meters away, which is about an 18-minute walk on a cobbled road winding through the picturesque natural surroundings of Krishna Valley. Of course, for those who do not want to walk, it is also possible to drive slowly to the parking lot in front of the temple.

You can eat your ordered meal at the Govinda restaurant located inside Krishna Valley. The restaurant is located in the temple building, if you are facing it, you will find it on the right side.

In this cozy little room, a single bed awaits its guests, which can be pulled out and converted into a double bed, thus providing a spacious, comfortable resting area for two people. A wardrobe and a hanger are available for storing clothes. Next to the bed, there is a small bedside table with a soft light and a pitcher of fresh water. A comfortable armchair completes the coziness of the room.

A radiator ensures a pleasant temperature, while the windows open onto the courtyard. The walls are decorated with beautiful, colorful pictures of Krishna and the spiritual world, which make the space truly homely.

Kamala Kutir is located in the courtyard next to Kamala Bhavan. This is a purple-colored, smaller building on the lot at the corner of Fő utca and Csepregi utca. Upon entering the house, you are greeted by a small hallway with a shoe rack next to the door, as well as a table and two armchairs. We can comfortably place our shoes on the shoe rack next to the door, as it is required to remain inside the house without wearing outdoor shoes.

There are a total of three rooms in the building: one with its own bathroom and two with shared bathrooms. A small and cosy house that offers privacy at an affordable price.

To use the tea kitchen and the terrace, you have to go to the main Kamala Bhavan building, which is only a few meters away from Kamala Kutir. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle and cutlery. And you will even find tea bags, sugar and salt in the kitchen.

Around the guesthouse:
A few meters from the building, on Fő utca, there is a small ABC, where you can find a wide selection of groceries. Gluten-free products are also available in the store as well as some vegetarian options.

The room has two single beds, a desk with two armchairs and a wardrobe, all made of high-quality pine wood furniture. A kettle and a jug of water await tired visitors with glasses on the table to quench their thirst. You will also find mugs, teaspoons, tea beags and sugar next to the kettle. A small lamp gives off a warm, cozy light, and when possible the vase is full with flowers.

Although there is no air conditioning in the room, a fan provides a pleasant cooling breeze in the summer. The walls are decorated with beautiful pictures of Krishna and the spiritual world, and the two large windows let in lots of natural light. The room’s windows open to the front and rear of the yard, and drapes easily block out light when needed.

The room is warmed up by a beautiful, glazed tile stove, which creates a homely atmosphere. A small bench right next to the tile stove, will warm you up almost immediately. The floor of the room is covered with parquet, which is further decorated with a nice carpet.

At the back, under a pergola, there is a larger wooden table and chairs where guests can relax outdoors or organize joint programs.
